CHEX News Videographer Jesse Thomas took the crown at a pasta eating contest Thursday afternoon.
To secure his victory, Thomas knocked back four bowls of pasta. Contender Aly Bell, from the CHEX sales department, polished off two bowls, while third-place finisher and 100.5 Fresh radio morning show host Pete Dalliday ate a paltry one and a half. The match took place at Ricky’s All Day Grill.

“I prepared for this the straightforward way,” Thomas said, as the bowls were cleared away. “I didn’t eat for four days.”
Dalliday bowed out of the competition early on, shortly after requesting his second bowl.
He admitted to making a strategic error earlier in the day.
“I did have a blizzard for breakfast. That was probably my first bad move,” Dalliday said.
