One dead, two injured in crash on Nova Scotia’s Highway 103

RCMP say one person has died and two others have been injured following an accident along Highway 103 in Nova Scotia Wednesday morning.

Police say two vehicles collided around 10:30 a.m. between Exit 5 and Exit 5a.

Two people were transported by EHS to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A third person was taken to hospital to be treated for serious injuries. Police confirmed Wednesday afternoon that the third person, a woman who was a passenger in one of the vehicles, had passed away.

RCMP say a section of the highway will be closed for several hours while they work to investigate the collision.

A detour remains in place.
