Cadet Corps open house

Global Calgary’s Leslie Horton spoke to Constable Mark Kane of the Calgary Police Service on Thursday during the Noon News Hour about an open house being held for the CPS Cadet Corps.

The open house is on Thursday, March 28th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

The Cadet Corps is a free program open to youth aged 12 to 18, and is focused on developing leadership skills in a positive environment. A wide array of activities are offered, including marksmanship, outdoor survival training, first aid training and weekend camps. The curriculum includes conflict resolution, law, leadership and public speaking.

If you’re interested in enrolment, registration for the 2013/2014 season closes on May 31st.
