RCMP lay 2nd-degree murder charge in death of man in Shellbrook, Sask.

RCMP Major Crimes Unit North has laid a second-degree murder charge in the death of a Lindsay Voyer, 31, in Shellbrook, Sask.

Danielle Molodie Lidguerre, 32, was arrested without incident on July 27. The accused is scheduled to appear in Prince Albert provincial court on July 30.

Shellbrook RCMP were called for a complaint of an assault in the 300-block of 4th Avenue East at roughly 3:20 p.m. CT on June 30. Voyer was found dead inside a home.

This homicide investigation was conducted with help from the provincial coroner’s office and forensic identification section.

Shellbrook is approximately 125 kilometres north of Saskatoon.
