A 32-year-old man and 24-year-old woman are in critical condition following a single-vehicle crash in western New Brunswick on Wednesday.
New Brunswick RCMP say they were called to the crash on Highway 109 in Three Brooks, N.B., shortly before 10:30 p.m.

Police believe the SUV left the road and crashed into two telephone poles, ejecting both people from the vehicle.

Both victims from Oakland, N.B., were sent to hospital from the scene. Police do not believe either were wearing seatbelts.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
