The police officer was able to catch up to the vehicle at a red light, searched the plate and learned that it had been reported stolen.

Although the officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop the vehicle refused to stop and took off outbound on Bayers Road.

The vehicle was pursued by officers as it exited at Duke Street in Bedford, N.S. before they discontinued the pursuit when the vehicle reached Rocky Lake Drive.

Police found the vehicle unoccupied some time later on Birch Street. A search of the area did not locate anyone.
