The father of two survivors of the Florida school shooting in February has been shot to death after a robbery at his convenience store.
Ayub Ali, 61, was robbed and killed at Aunt Molly’s Food Store in North Lauderdale on Tuesday, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, who shared photos of the suspect.
Two of Ali’s four children, one son and one daughter, survived the massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, which left 17 people dead, CBS News reported.
Security footage of the incident shows the suspect confronting Ali behind the counter, CBS reported. The store owner appears to be putting his hands up, and the suspect helps himself to cash from the register and leaves.
