It was an accident that pitted “car vs moose,” paramedics said – and while the 21-year-old driver came out unharmed, the collision claimed the animal’s life.
The Ottawa Paramedic Service said the woman’s vehicle struck the moose on Hawthorne Road, south of Leitrim Road, at 11:35 p.m. Tuesday.
Paramedics shared a photo of the car’s shattered and caved-in windshield on Twitter.
