Strathcona County gas station robbed at gunpoint: RCMP

Strathcona County RCMP are investigating a gas station robbery on Tuesday morning.

Police said two men entered the Country Boyz Tempo on Highway 16 at 4:14 a.m. Tuesday, and one of the suspects pulled out a firearm and demanded cash from the clerk. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the register.

The second suspect tried to break into the ATM but was unsuccessful, police said.

No one was injured during the robbery.

One of the suspects is described as having an average build and standing five feet 11 inches tall. He was wearing dark coveralls, dark shoes, a grey hoodie and ski mask.

The other man is said to have an average build, wearing dark clothing and white and black sneakers.
