Hamilton continues to bake under a heat warning.
Environment Canada is calling the prolonged heat wave “the most significant heat event in the past few years.”
The weather agency says after a slightly cooler morning on Tuesday, daytime highs in the low 30s will continue Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
It says humidex values will be in the mid-30s Tuesday, and near 40 for Wednesday and Thursday.
There is some relief on the horizon, however.

The city of Hamilton has implemented measures to help residents beat the heat, one of which includes free regularly scheduled public, family, adult and senior swims at indoor and outdoor pools.
