Two people are in hospital after a drive-by shooting in Lachine Sunday night.
According to Montreal police, the incident happened on the westbound Highway 20 service road, near 1st Avenue, around 11:30 p.m.
“There were four people in the vehicle. At a certain point on that service road, another vehicle passed by and that’s when the shooting occurred,” said Jean-Pierre Brabant, spokesperson with Montreal police.

The victims are a man aged 27 — police do not fear for his life — and a teenage girl aged 17, who is in critical condition.
The two are are being treated for injuries to their upper bodies.
Officers are currently looking for the suspect(s), but say it is too early to know if the shooting was related to gangs or organized crime.
The victims do not appear to be known by police.
