Burnaby RCMP have safely located missing man with special needs

The Burnaby RCMP thanks the public for its help in locating a missing man with special needs.

Steven O’Brien, 48, was reported missing on June 30 after leaving his home in the area of Burnaby General Hospital.

Police say he has a diminished mental capacity that leads him to be overly trusting of strangers.

RCMP located him on July 1 and he has been returned home safely.
