Earlier in the day police sent a release that warned the public to be on the lookout for Paul Bosek of Brazeau County.

RCMP said Bosek should be considered “armed and dangerous”, and that an arrest warrant had been issued for Bosek in connection to the murder of his common-law girlfriend, 56-year-old Michelle Marcino.

Marcino was found dead Friday evening near Buck Lake, Alta.

In a release late Saturday police said a vehicle driven by Bosek had been located on Lodgepole Road outside Drayton Valley around 6 p.m.

“After the vehicle was located the male suspect was found deceased in his vehicle by a self-inflicted wound.”

According to the latest release RCMP are not seeking any further suspects.
