A driver of a tractor-trailor lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a median on Highway 401 just east of Highway 8 early Wednesday morning.
Police were called to the scene just after 4 a.m., Const. Lauren Ball said. The crash left two eastbound lanes closed between Hwy. 8 and Hespeler Road for repair to the median and fuel cleanup, Ball said. The lanes reopened shortly before 11 a.m.
