Russ Wyatt’s career in city politics might not be over yet.
Days after Wyatt said he would not be seeking a fifth term as councillor for Transcona, he popped up on twitter referring to himself as mayor.
“Mayor Wyatt would make building more Affordable Housing Units a top priority,” read one tweet.
Another said “Mayor Wyatt WILL NOT re-open Portage and Main.”
Global News asked Wyatt if he was planning to run for the city’s top job and in a message he said he was considering it.
“Thinking about it. Not ruling it out.”
Wyatt announced Thursday he would not be seeking re-election.
