Fine bone china plates commemorating the royal wedding you won't find in your grandmother's collection? Take a look at this plate set marking Will and Kate's upcoming nuptials.

Released by a small London design shop called KK Outlet, one of the designers Richard Walker said the plates capture "what a lot of people are thinking, but are afraid to say."

Walker insisted the collection is cheeky, but far from negative. The designs come out of something he labelled "positive cynicism,' saying the plates fit with the new youthful tone this couple is setting for the royal family.
The designers were clearly having fun and seem to be hitting the right note: when they started taking online orders a few days ago, there was so much traffic it crashed the company's website.

Walker even said if Will and Kate wanted a set, he would happily offer a royal discount. How much is that? About 10% off…
