Body of missing man found in southwest Saskatchewan

The search for a missing man in southwest Saskatchewan has come to a tragic end.

Ponteix RCMP said in a release Sunday afternoon that Peter Entz, 54, who had been reported missing, was located dead.

A cause of death has not been released and police continue to investigate along with the coroner’s office.

Entz, who was from the Vanguard Hutterian Colony, was reported missing on April 20 after last being seen late the previous afternoon.

He was known to travel to the Swift Current area, however, those who knew him said it was unusual for him to not return to the colony the same day.
