Eastside Road in Vernon is open once again after a mudslide covered it with debris on Monday night.
More than 300 homes lost power.
One home was damaged but there were no injuries.
City of Vernon crews estimated that 50 dump-truck loads of debris came down, leaving the road under a metre of mud.

The cause of the slide is being attributed to a saturated hillside where there is a natural water course.
