The community of Naramata continues to clean up after last week’s substantial rain event.
Damage includes a washout on the KVR Trail near Workman Place.
Some residents living in properties on Winifred Road and Gammon Road believe excessive runoff this year may be exacerbated by housing developments being built above their homes.
They are hoping the developer, the province, and the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen will work together to improve drainage in the area.
