RCMP locate man facing multiple charges

Punnichy RCMP are no longer asking for the public’s help in locating Andrew James Cyr. RCMP

UPDATE: RCMP announced on April 4 they located Andrew James Cyr.

Punnichy RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a 24-year-old man wanted for multiple charges, including three counts of sexual assault.

Andrew James Cyr, of George Gordon First Nation, is also facing charges for assault on a police officer and break and enter.

Cyr has been wanted on these outstanding warrants since Aug. 30, 2017, and RCMP believe he is currently on the George Gordon First Nation Reserve, or in Regina.

Cyr is described as roughly five-foot six, 140 pounds, with short black hair, brown eyes and has a medium complexion. He has an NS (Native Syndicate) tattoo on the web of his right hand.
