SASKATOON –A Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory (PWSA) still remains for some parts of Saskatoon west of river.
The PWDA was issued after a break in a primary water main north of 42nd Street. The break was fixed on Friday night.
During any repair on the water supply system there is a low risk of contamination.
As a precaution, the city issued a PDWA while waiting for bacteriological tests to come back negative for any contamination in the water supply system.

It is advised that residents boil water for one minute and cooled prior to drinking or any other activities where water may be ingested until all the work is completed.
Infrastructure Services will have an update this afternoon on whether the advisory can be lifted.

The PDWA remains in effect for the following neighbourhoods:
- River Heights
- Lawson Heights
- Silverwood Heights
- Kelsey Woodlawn
- Agriplace
- Marquis Industrial
- North Industrial
- Hudson Bay Industrial
Health information for licensed accommodation facilities such as hotels, food establishments, schools, daycares, hospitals and nursing homes is available at the Saskatoon Health Region at 306-655-4605.
The PDWA also remains in effect for the Corman Park Bizhub and Sask Water customers north of Saskatoon such as Martensville, Warman, Osler, Neuanlage, Hague and Dalmeny.
