Police in southern England had an interesting run-in recently with someone who handed them a driver’s licence that featured the identity of Homer Simpson.

According to Thames Valley Police, a traffic officer in Milton Keynes demanded to see a driver’s licence following a traffic violation and was presented with Homer Simpson’s classic “D’oh” face as the photo ID, as well as an address that is listed as “28 Springfield Way, USA.”

“Earlier this week, @tvprp’s PC Phillips stopped a car in Milton Keynes. When she tried to identify the driver’s ID, she found the below…,” the tweet from Thames Valley Police read, with a photo of the licence attached.

The police also confirmed that they didn’t fall for the fake ID, revealing what happened next: “The driver’s car was seized and he was reported for driving with no insurance and driving without a proper licence. D’oh!,” the tweet read.
