Say goodbye to the sunshine as we welcome back the clouds.
Saskatoon Forecast
Thursday
Thursday saw Saskatoon’s second mildest morning so far this March with temperatures only dipping back to -11 with wind chills around -20 to start.
Partly cloudy skies started the day as we rose up into mid-minus single digits by noon with a breezy east-southeasterly wind gusting upwards of 40 km/h at times.
Winds continued for the rest of the day as clouds rolled in with a system sliding into Alberta as we climbed up to an afternoon high a few degrees off the freezing mark.
Friday
Clouds will be the name of the game to finish off the work week, which keep us mild to start the day with wind chills just dropping back into the mid-minus teens in the morning.
There is a slight chance of a few light flurries at times in the evening after topping out at an afternoon high right around or possibly even just above the freezing mark.
Weekend
We could catch some light snow on Saturday and Sunday, but overall the weekend is shaping up to be a cloudy one, thanks to an upper low to our east.
Clouds will inhibit heating very slightly as well with afternoon highs struggling to get up to the freezing mark and likely will remain just below it.
Work Week Outlook
Clouds and a chance of flurries are expected to linger into the work week with daytime highs dropping back a few degrees below freezing at times before we get into a big of mid-week sunshine.
