The Winnipeg Jets announced Wednesday that the team has recalled goalie Eric Comrie from their AHL (American Hockey League) affiliate the Manitoba Moose.
Comrie has played 31 games for the Moose this season posting a 17-11-3 record with two shutouts, a 2.56 goals-against and a .918 save percentage.
This marks Comrie’s fifth season in the AHL after being drafted by the Jets in the second round (59th overall) in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
The recall comes after Michael Hutchinson was pulled from Tuesday’s 3-1 loss to the Nashville Predators with a upper-body injury.
