Jason Triplett, a 37-year-old attorney, was dining at a restaurant with friends when he noticed a Boston police vehicle become stuck in the snow following the third Nor’easter to strike the city in less than a month.

Triplett, who had embraced the winter weather by wearing a “Queen Elsa” costume to dinner to get some laughs from his friends, jumped into action to help free the vehicle.

Chris Haynes, a restaurant publicist who shot video of the unexpected moment, told the Boston Globe that he heard a ruckus and watched as “Elsa” ran out of the bistro.

“The great part of the video is it just sort of shows you his unmitigated commitment to helping get the truck unstuck. That’s what makes it really fun,” Haynes said.

Jordi Mullor was also sitting in the restaurant and shared video of the incident to Twitter, with the caption, “So… #elsa to the rescue.”

After freeing the vehicle, Triplett received applause when he re-entered the restaurant.

“The officers involved were especially grateful for the help and would like to thank the Elsa-impersonator for the assist,” said Boston police Officer James Kenneally, a spokesman for the department.
