The Kelowna Rockets soared to victory on a two goal performance from Leif Mattson blasting the Kamloops Blazers 4-0.
Mattson got the Rockets on the board first in the opening frame on a beautiful tic-tac-toe passing play from Dillon Dube and Carsen Twarynski.

Mattson then added a short handed marker for his second of the night and 22nd of the season. After picking up a loose puck at his own blue line, Mattsonbroke in alone then froze the
Blazers goaltender with a fake slap shot before sliding it home through his pads.
James Porter got the shut out as the Rockets handed the Blazers their second loss in a row following a two game home at home stand.
