A blast of winter weather has shutdown a number of schools around southern Manitoba and halted buses from running in Winnipeg.
- All school buses serving schools in Metro Winnipeg School Divisions are cancelled, but schools remain open. That includes the St. James-Assiniboia, River East Transcona, Louis Riel, Seven Oaks, Winnipeg, Pembina Trail and DSFM school divisions.
- St. John’s-Ravenscourt School: buses are cancelled. The school is still open.
- Turtle Mountain School Division: all classes are cancelled.
- Borderland School Division: all schools are closed.
- Lord Selkirk School Division: all schools are closed.
- Southwest Horizon School Division: all schools are closed.
- Sunrise School Division: all schools are closed.
- Seine River School Division: all schools are closed.
- Interlake School Division: all schools are closed.
- Evergreen School Division: all schools are closed.
- Red River School Division: all schools are closed.
- Pine Creek School Division: all schools are closed.
- Lakeshore School Division: all schools are closed.
- Prairie Rose School Division: all schools are closed.
- Garden Valley School Division: all schools are closed.
- Hanover School Division: all schools are closed.
- Manitoba School for the Deaf: all schools are closed.
- St. George School is closed due to power outage
- DSFM is closing the following school for today: Auréle Lemoine in Saint-Laurent, Noel-Ritchot in Saint-Norbert, Sainte Agathe, Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Réal Bérard IN Saint-Pierre, Pointe des chênes in Sainte Anne, Gabrielle-Roy In Ile des Chênes , Saint-Joachim In LaBroquerie, La Source in Shilo, École Notre Dame in Notre-dame de Lourde, École Gilbert Rosset in Saint-Claude, École saint-Georges in Pine Fall- Saint-Georges, École Jours de Plaine in Laurier, École saint-Lazare in Saint –Lazare, Lagimodière in Lorette.
- Calvin Christian School – no buses running.
- Red River College Interlake and Peguis Fisher River Regional Campuses – Closed
- Ecole Sofiya- all schools are closed.
- Faith Academy – buses are cancelled. The school is still open.
- Sergeant Tommy Prince School – buses are cancelled. The school is still open.
