Saskatoon police have charged a 16-year-old boy with 88 mischief charges, following a graffiti investigation.
Last October, police identified a teen boy responsible for graffiti mischief on a door in the 100-block of 33rd Street East.
After an investigation, police found he was the same person responsible for nearly 90 similar incidents dating back to November 2015.
“It’s very important that people report graffiti. We know that it happens and it doesn’t always get reported. In this case it was, and that’s why we were able to lay so many charges,” Saskatoon police spokesperson Kelsie Fraser said.
Police said his graffiti was found along Spadina Crescent, as well in the Nutana, University Heights, Lawson Heights, Confederation Park and Silverwood Heights neighbourhoods.
The teen will make his next court appearance on March 19.
