A 26-year-old man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for attempted murder turned himself in to Calgary police on Monday afternoon.
On Thursday, Edmonton police said multiple Canada-wide warrants had been issued for Levi Eden, who was wanted in connection with a home invasion in that city on Jan. 29.
In a news release issued on Thursday, police said a man forced his way into a home near 87 Street and Strathearn Drive at around 10:15 p.m. A 50-year-old man was inside and was “violently assaulted.”

Police said the assault happened “throughout the residence” and it’s alleged a knife was pulled out by the suspect at one point. The victim suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital. He has since been released.
Eden is facing five charges, including attempted murder, aggravated assault and possession of a dangerous weapon.
He turned himself in to Calgary police on March 5, EPS said.
