Two West Vancouver men are expected to learn today whether their failed bid to overturn a triple-murder conviction will be reviewed by the Washington State Supreme Court.

Sebastian Burns and Atif Rafay were found guilty in the 1994 murder of Rafay’s parents and autistic sister in their Seattle home.
They each received 99-year life sentences without the possibility of parole.
Last July, they argued for a new trial, raising issues including controversial tactics used in the RCMP’s undercover sting operation to gather evidence.
A majority vote from the nine justices is needed to grant a review.
