Missing teen’s death not suspicious: Loon Lake RCMP

Loon Lake RCMP said Monday that a missing teenager from Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation has been found dead.

Police said the death of Jermaine Littlespruce, 16, is not considered suspicious at this time.

Littlespruce was last seen at a home near Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation on Feb. 20 and was reported missing on Feb. 24.

RCMP said the death is still under investigation with assistance from Saskatchewan’s coroner’s office.

Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation is located approximately 310 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon.
