Family Day is a busy weekend for most.
That said, it’s important to stay safe in the cold temperatures.
Alberta Health Services (AHS) issued a reminder to Calgarians on Feb. 13 to enjoy winter sports safely.
AHS said there were about 500 children brought to the Alberta Children’s Hospital with injuries from snow sports like skiing, snowboarding and skating last year.
With that in mind, there’s a variety of fun things to do in the city on Family Day.
