From Bullies to the Oscars

Bullying is a serious
problem and one new project aims to show the lasting effects. The video, called
“To This Day”, has received over 5 million views. 
It tells the tale of a young boy’s life of verbal abuse, and explains how those words can hurt just as much as sticks and stones. His story shows how we all need to find the strength to over-come.

This a great example of
customer service. 
These two gentlemen are
visiting Japan and want to take a trip to the fish market by train.  The automated system and language barrier is
causing difficulty so they press the assistance button…after a few short
seconds an actual person emerges from the machine to help them on their way.

Many people struggle with
losing weight, but NASA scientist, Ray Cronise, may have found the chilling
solution: keeping your body cold.
 

In 2010, Cronise lost 27 in 6 weeks by avoiding heat as much as he could.  Cold showers, less clothing etc.  Now, he is working with other scientists conducting experiments where a subject is submerged  in cold water in comparison to physical activity, to determine which burns more fat.

Now when you check out
this video you may think you’re watching the latest action flick, but this car
chase video is, actually using remote control cars. 
The city setting is created using only cardboard, hot glue and spray paint.  “The Cliché RC Action Chase” has had nearly 2 million views in only a week. 

 


   

 

The Oscar’s have come and
gone but one 
recipient is still turning heads.  Best actress winner, Jennifer Lawrence’s
interview backstage with reporters is grabbing attention.

Not only does she discuss
the stigma that comes with mental illness, but also wins over fans and media members
with her honest and down-to-earth attitude about her fame and what the future
