Firefighters had to work quickly last night to prevent a blaze from spreading from a scrap metal business in southeastern Saskatchewan.

Emergency crews were called to Mryglod Steel and Metals in Weyburn around 8:15 p.m. after flames erupted in a pile of copper wire and plastic.
There were no reports of injuries.
