Another weather system hit Nova Scotia bringing a thick layer of snow with it.
Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning for the entire province Wednesday afternoon, with 15 to 25 cm expected for all areas in the province except Shelburne and Queens Counties.

According to Environment Canada, a system will move northeast over the Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia later Wednesday before hitting Newfoundland on Thursday.
Snow is expected to continue in Nova Scotia throughout Wednesday afternoon before tapering to flurries on Thursday.
There is also a risk of freezing rain over southern and central areas of Nova Scotia.

Halifax Regional Police (HRP) and the Nova Scotia RCMP said they have responded to 42 collisions on Wednesday. A large percentage of them were the result of weather related driving conditions.
“Being in the traffic unit, we respond to fatalities, so not everybody is invincible,” HRP Const. Kristine Fraser said in Dartmouth. “People just need to slow down, and drive alert, and drive safe at all times.”
Fraser also said that drivers should understand that speed limits are meant for ideal conditions.
