TORONTO – Canadian actor Will Arnett has signed up to play a newly single man in a comedy for CBS.
Arnett will star in a still-untitled pilot as recently divorced Jack, whose life gets more complicated when his parents have marital issues of their own.

The 42-year-old Toronto native separated from wife Amy Poehler last year after nine years of marriage. The couple has two boys, Archie and Abel.
Arnett, who most recently starred in the NBC comedy series Up All Night, also appears in the reboot of Arrested Development for Netflix.
