The city is going to build a new downtown marina and the Fintry Queen is considered incompatible with the plan.
Last fall Schwab had to tow the Fintry Queen to Sutherland Bay to make way for the marina development.

He still hasn’t given up hope that someday he’ll be able to bring it back to a prime downtown location.
Schwab’s deal with the city for temporary moorage in Sutherland Bay expires in October, but he says he’s been told the deadline can be extended if he doesn’t find permanent moorage by then.
