DriveBC says the Trans-Canada highway from Sicamous to Revelstoke has reopened following a serious crash that shut down the highway for several hours.
BC Emergency Health Services says six patients were transported to hospital after a multi-vehicle accident near Three Valley Gap on Wednesday afternoon.
Two patients are in critical condition.
An air ambulance and three ground ambulances were dispatched to the scene.
Highway cameras showed traffic at a standstill for several hours.
