Edmonton police charge three people for big theft of perfume

EDMONTON – Police officers in Edmonton may have followed their noses in a recent arrest.

Three people have been charged in the theft of about $40,000 in perfumes and other products from a national chain store.

Police say the trio was arrested this week after two separate break-ins on the city’s south side.

A search at one of the suspect’s homes resulted in the recovery of some fragrances and other stolen property.

Thomas Reardon, who is 28, and 22-year-old Daniel Geness are charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property and wearing a disguise.

Paige Hadow Dunn, who is 19, is charged with possession of stolen property.
