No serious injuries were reported but police say charges are pending after a cement truck and SUV collided in Zorra Township on Friday.
The collision occurred just after 10 a.m. along 37th Line between Road 84 and Road 88, Oxford OPP said.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and police say both vehicles were travelling along 37th Line when the collision occurred.
The SUV’s driver and passenger suffered minor injuries and were taken to local hospital, while a four-month-old inside the vehicle was uninjured. The driver of the cement truck was also uninjured, police said.
The crash also caused some 200 litres of diesel fuel to spill onto the roadway and into a nearby drainage ditch, police said, adding that the Ministry of Environment had been called to the scene along with the Oxford County Roads Department.
Few other details have been released, but police say charges are pending in the incident.
