Police request assistance after attempted armed robbery

On Sunday at around 5:30 a.m., Regina police were called to a bank on the 4200 block of Albert Street for a report of a firearms offence.

It’s alleged that two men in a vehicle tried to block in another vehicle that had just finished using the drive-through ATM. The two suspects got out of their vehicle and one was armed with a long barrel firearm. The victims were able to drive around the suspects’ vehicle and get away.

The armed man is described as wearing a black balaclava mask and his accomplice is described as wearing a dark toque. Their vehicle is believed to be a Buick Rendezvous.
