A shocking crash at a powerboat race in Florida was caught on camera Friday, sending one of the fast-moving boats soaring through the air.
Yet incredibly, nobody was seriously hurt in the dramatic crash.
The accident took place on the second day of the Key West World Championship in Key West, Fla. Sanctioned by Super Boat International, the championship featured 36 registered boats racing in seven classes.

During a race Friday in the Superboat Unlimited class, the CT Marine boat struck the back of the Powerboat CMS, climbing onto and over it before pinwheeling through the air – to the astonished gasps of commentators and spectators alike, watching just feet away.
Though the crash looked bad at first, the CT Marine team of Andy Strobert and Billy Moore emerged through a hatch in their overturned craft, seemingly unhurt.
Meanwhile the Powerboat CMS team of Bob Bull and Randy Scism were able to pilot their boat back to the dock.
The Key West World Championship continued for the rest of the weekend. Miss Geico, helmed by James Sheppard and Steve Curtis, won the Superboat Unlimited world title with an average speed of 165 km/h.
