Police said when officers began giving verbal commands to the man, he turned his attention towards them and threatened them with the knife.

A conducted energy weapon (CEW) was used and the man was taken into custody. Police said he was not injured by the CEW, however, EMS took him to hospital for a pre-existing medical condition.
