Kelowna dog park to close temporarily

Dog owners beware.

The city of Kelowna is temporarily closing down the off-leash dog park at the Mission Recreation Park adjacent to the H2O Centre.

The closure will accommodate upgrade work that will include new lighting, which will come on automatically after dusk and before dawn during regular park hours.

Upgrades will also include trail and drainage work and new gates.

The dog park will be closed between Tuesday Nov.14 to Friday Nov.17.
