Winnipeg band to headline half-time show at CFL western semi-final

Petric, a home-grown Manitoba country duo, will be the headline act as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers take on the Edmonton Eskimos in the CFL western semi-final Sunday.

In a statement released Tuesday, Bombers staff said the award-winning band will perform three songs during half-time from one of the new viewing decks.

The band will also perform an acoustic set in the tailgate area prior to kick-off.

Petric was recently given the Rising Star Award by the Broadcasters Association of Manitoba. They have also been nominated for several 2017 Country Music Association awards, including Group/Duo of the Year and Fan’s Choice award.

The semi-final game goes Sunday at Investors Group Field at 3:30 p.m.  The tailgate area opens at 1:30 p.m.
