A 21-year-old man is expected to appear in Longueuil court on Monday where he faces several charges in connection with a fatal crash in Kahnawake Saturday.
The crash happened on residential street Veterans Boulevard around 3 a.m.
David Lahache, interim public relations officer with the Kahnawake Mohawk Peacekeepers — the local police force in Kahnawake — said the driver lost control of his vehicle and hit a guardrail.
The vehicle then landed on a parked pickup truck before bursting into flames.

Two Kahnawake men — aged 21 and 17 — were killed in the crash. Three other occupants of the vehicle — all women from Châteaguay — were rushed to hospital for treatment.
The driver sustained only minor injuries.

In a news release Sunday, Lahache said one of the victims, aged 18, was still listed as critical, having suffered severe head and neck injuries.
The second victim, also 18, remains in the ICU of a Montreal-area hospital with a fractured spine and other internal injuries which will require additional surgery.
The third victim, a 19-year-old, was treated for a broken arm as well as cuts and bruises.
The driver of the vehicle faces several charges including two counts of dangerous driving causing death, three counts of dangerous driving causing injury, two counts of failing to stop at the scene of an accident causing death, three counts of failing to stop at the scene of an accident causing injury, two counts of impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing death, and three counts of impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing injury.
