Peterborough and Selwyn fire crews battled a fire at Robert Young Construction on Chemong Road on Thursday night.
Neighbours called 911 before 11 p.m. when they spotted smoke coming from the building.
The charred cab of a transport truck was pulled from the building.

Investigators say someone had been working on the transport earlier in the day. There was significant smoke damage in the building and the truck is considered a write-off.
No injuries were reported.
Damage is estimated in excess of $100,000.
