Hamilton police say an “overwhelming influx of information” from the public was “instrumental” in the arrest of a wanted man.
Police say they arrested Goran Kakamad without incident Tuesday in the area of Main Street West and Cootes Drive.
The 21-year-old Kakamad has been charged with dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, and failing to comply with probation.
Police say the charges stem from an incident on Oct. 6 on Mohawk Road East, between Upper Wellington and Upper Wentworth, where several gunshots were fired into a residence.
No one was hurt.
