A local politician is in hospital in Vancouver with what are said to be serious injuries.
Glen Taylor is a councillor in Coldstream and manager of O’Keefe Ranch.

Coldstream mayor Jim Garlick has been told Taylor was injured while at work last week after he was apparently struck by a barrel while transporting it on a tractor at the ranch.
Garlick said Taylor could be facing recovery time of up to 18 months.
O’Keefe Ranch is not commenting on the incident.
