Winnipeg’s winter weather opened up an opportunity for vehicle robbers in St. Vital last week.
Police say a man was scraping the windshield of his SUV on Marlene Street Friday night when he was approached by two men. One asked the time, and when the victim glanced down, he was beaten.

The men then stole his vehicle, a grey four-door 2004 Toyota Forerunner with the Manitoba plate ERJ 910.
The victim, a 59-year-old man, was treated in hospital for minor injuries.
The first suspect is described as aboriginal, 5-10, in his early 30s, 180 to 190 pounds, with a stocky build and no facial hair. He was wearing a dark winter jacket.
The second suspect is described as aboriginal, 5-11, in his early 30s and 200 pounds. He was wearing a dark jacket.
